With SZA‘s CTRL finally dropping this Friday, the New Jersey-bred singer stopped by The Breakfast Club to talk about her new album.

Off rip, SZA, Charlamagne, DJ Envy and Angela Yee discussed the content of the album, which largely revolves around relationships. “I never really talked about relationships in a direct way,” SZA said, but on CTRL, which we now know will have features from Kendrick Lamar, Isaiah Rashad and more, she’s as upfront about her feelings as she’s ever been. She noted, “most of this album is me talking to me.”
