Terrace Martin & The Pollyseeds – “Up & Away’

blame it on Patrick Glynn June 7, 2017

Terrace Martin put together a supergroup of jazz musicians called The Pollyseeds. The group is releasing a project called Sounds Of Crenshaw Vol. 1, and they introduced the project with the first single, “Intentions” featuring Problem.

The group sometimes features the likes of Robert Glasper and Kamasi Washington, but they’re absent on the newest single, “Up & Away,” which features instrumentation from Marlon Williams, Trevor Lawrence and Rose Gold, who is singing alongside Martin on the song.

Sounds of Crenshaw Vol. 1 is lined up for a July 14 release, and you can pre-order it on iTunes. Stream “Up & Away” below.

The 13-track album will have multiple features from Problem, Glasper, Rose Gold and others.
