At this point, only Cam’ron knows when Cam’ron is coming out with an album.
He teased something earlier in the year, which turned out to be a hood-tastic take on a Vanessa Carlton song. However, in a recent interview with Noisey he revealed that he’s working on a movie and two albums.
“Music, even if I wanted to stop, I don’t think I could stop,” he said. “It’s just so embedded in my blood that it’s easy to do records. But it’s always fun to take on a new task also.”
Hence where “D.I.A.” comes in. Short for “Done It All,” this is one of the many songs Cam has lying around thanks to a home studio where he records “at least six, seven songs a month on a lazy month.” He says he plans to release everything before the year is out, but once again? At this point, only Cam’ron knows when Cam’ron is coming out with an album.
