Keke Palmer jumpstarted her music career again last year releasing songs with Ty Dolla $ign (“I Don’t Belong To You“), Jeremih (“Enemiez“) and others. She capped off her year with a visual project, Lauren.
Keeping things consistent in the new year, Ms. Palmer calls on Quavo for her new song, “Wind Up,” an energetic effort which sees the Migo and Keke trading verses over catchy, bass-heavy production. Keke impressively kept up with Quavo, considering how on fire he’s been the last 12 months.

UPDATE (6/14): Two months later, a video has been released.
“I’ve always been Inspired by the 90’s and I wanted to express that inspiration in the style of the Wind Up visuals” says Keke. “It was also important to me to incorporate another source of inspiration for me – musical theater – into my storytelling performance style. As this song is about my life I wanted to make sure it represented all of who I am. It’s quintessentially me: actress, singer, dancer, performer and lover of the 90’s.”
