On August 8th, 2015 the hip hop world lost a leading figure in its underground scene, as Sean Price never woke up from his final sleep. While musically, Sean left a wealth of tracks in his vaults, a full project has not been released since 2015’s Songs in the Key of Price mixtape.
On August 8th, exactly two years to the day that he sadly passed, that changes. Sean’s longtime label, Duck Down Records, has announced that his long-in-the-works fourth studio album Imperius Rex will finally see a release.
