Zack Villere, once known as Froyo Ma, releases his first album under his government name, Little World.
The Louisiana native’s first single, “Cool,” caught a giant wave on social media and dissipated throughout Twitter, with people becoming attracted to the singer/producer’s oddball bubbly nature. If new fans dig deeper, though, to his Froyo Ma days, they’ll find unique, perky production providing the backdrop to little narratives like falling in love or the world ending.
On Little World, Villere navigates the 12 tracks mostly by himself, save for one song — “Minivan” — where frequent collaborator J’Von lends an assist.
