Still pushing his latest full-length project Hip-Hop*, Baltimore’s MC Bravado returns with the album’s third video, following “This Is Gold” with OnCue and the incredibly moving “Dead Man’s Dream.”
On “Human Torch,” the part-time educator and New York-reared rapper SC Static turn up with battle-rap ready rhymes with just a hint of ill will pointed toward the current state of the game, brewing just below the surface.
“Human Torch” isn’t about burning the proverbial bridge: it’s about nuking it. Fortunately for all of those within striking distance, MC Bravado and SC Static are still battling hypothetical opponents,” the Baltimore rapper shared with us. “As with the rest of the tracks on Hip-Hop*, this latest song/visual off MC B’s acclaimed second LP fulfills its intended role methodically, serving as an homage to horrorcore with dutiful malice.”
