Koins – “WEHI” f. Kealoha (prod. Sun Yehoshua)

blame it on JES7 June 18, 2017

There’s still an air of mystery as to what Koins has up his sleeve for his follow-up record to Familiar Faces. Whatever the case may be, we do know it will be an EP, accompanied by a mini-film of music videos, and will capture an entirely different view of the state of Hawaii — one not seen in mainstream media.

With the lead-up to said project moving forward, Koins, who has been leaking loosies (“Misery” x “Estrange” and “Tranquil“) is back with another summer vibe.

Producer Sun Yehoshua provides the soundscapes for Koins’ latest, “WEHI” featuring Kealoha, formerly known as K-Luv. Koins describes the record as “Summertime vibes from the Eastside of O’ahu. Modern day kanikapila, hot boxing and story telling.”

For those residing in the Los Angeles area, both Koins and Cnrboy will be performing alongside Azizi Gibson on July 6th at The NOVO in downtown L.A. See the flyer below for more details.
