A$AP Ferg released a four-pack of new songs last week, mostly songs about success, money and women made to be played at loud levels.

He follows those songs with a bit more formal of a release with “Tango,” where he addresses the rampant loss in his life over the last decade, from his dad to A$AP Yams. “I found out my dad died for the wrong reasons, it wasn’t that bad kidney, it was bad treatment,” he opened the song, where he directly addresses the struggles of losing people who he’s cared about most.

Ferg talked to Zane Lowe, who premiered the song, about said loss and how, on days where he feels like rapping the least, he makes songs like this.

He also announced a remix to “East Coast” with Busta Rhymes, Cam’Ron, A$AP Rocky, Dave East, Rick Ross, Snoop Dogg and French Montana. He also said he has other collaborations with Cam’Ron, MadeinTYO and Meek Mill, and this will all land on his Still Striving mixtape out in early August.
