DJ Khaled’s ‘Grateful’ On Tenth LP

blame it on Meka June 22, 2017

To suggest that DJ Khaled has been everywhere would be a severe understatement.

The man has spent more time in front of a camera — whether it’s on television, in movies or courtesy of his own hand — than there are hours in the day, and that was only amplified once his son Asahd… pardon, ASAHD was born. After that happened, Khaled has dedicated every facet of his life to him, going so far as to name him the executive producer of his tenth album Grateful.

That album has finally arrived, after a mountain of press, and per usual it’s a guest-heavy offering aimed at dominating summer playlists like his last album, Major Key. Like its nine predecessors, it’s packed to the brim with guest artists: Chance The Rapper (on two tracks, including his own solo song), Travi$ Scott (on four, including a song with Nas), Future (on five!), Rick Ross (on four), Calvin Harris, Rihanna, Bryson Tiller, Fat Joe, Jadakiss, Jeremih, the kitchen sink, the tub… and so forth.

The album is supported by four singles: “Shining, “I’m The One” (which landed Khaled his first-ever No. 1 single), “To The Max” and “Wild Thoughts.” Better make that five: coinciding with the album’s release, Khaled is also sharing a video for “On Everything” with Rick Ross, Big Sean and Travis Scott.

Debuted on his show on the album right now on Beats 1 Radio, Grateful can be heard below.

UPDATE: Along with the album, Khaled shared a video for the intro track, “I’m So Grateful” with Sizzla.
