Ty Farris – “Lil Deuce Deuce”

blame it on JES7 June 24, 2017

The first quarter of 2017 was a big one for Detroit lyricist Ty Farris, who delivered his incredible new album Room 39 and grabbing Rapper Big Pooh, brothers Kid Vishis and Royce 5’9″, plus Nash, Scolla and more.

Now on June 26th, Ty will follow up Room 39 with his new EP Ramen Noodle Nights, holding down the fort all by himself, save for “Another Victim” which features the only guest spot from Waterr. Production will be handled by Thelonious Martin, Trox, Vanderslice and more.

With just two days before the new EP arrives, listen to “Lil Deuce Deuce,” the first track from the project. The J Bansky-produced song is described as one of his most personal records to date, framing a younger version of Ty through a window of his 6 Mile neighborhood, as he waxes poetic about his first piece, a .22 pistol and “how he felt once he got it along with the opportunities he thought it could bring.”
