Kendrick Lamar hasn’t done a ton of press for his DAMN. album outside of touring. It’s not that he really needs it, though, as it’s on its way to selling two million copies in less than six months.

Kung Fu Kenny stopped by Big Boy’s neighborhood this week, though, to talk about the intricacies and impact of DAMN. in addition to the pressures of being regarded the best of his generation, filming the “ELEMENT.” video on his birthday, his relationships with the rest of Top Dawg Entertainment and more.

Lamar also revealed he originally wanted to call his album What Happens On Earth, Stays On Earth, but talking about it and the length of the title got in the way. He also said he had a hard drive of about 500 songs from 2005 and 2006 crash on him, so if anyone knows how to revive a hard drive, we’d like to have a word.
