Rick Ross arguably returned to form with Rathe Me Than You, yet with the album only a handful of months old he’s still releasing new music. In this case, it’s the Anthony Hamilton-guested “Glory of War.”
The two previously worked together on “Icon,” from Rick’s Black Dollar project. That cohesion is spotlighted again on this soulful offering, which lifts the same Lonnie Liston Smith sample (“A Garden of Peace”) found on JAY-Z‘s Reasonable Doubt single “Dead Presidents.” Out tonight on iTunes (June 30th), the song can be heard below.
