British producer Mura Masa‘s self-titled debut album is due out July 14. The project has brought together the likes of Desiigner (“All Around The World“) and A$AP Rocky (“Love$ick“) for some high-energy singles, but things calm with the project’s latest release, “Blu.”
Written about a girlfriend at the time — not the slick spitter from the West Coast and your favorite color — Mura Masa and Albarn whisper lullabies like “you don’t seem to understand me when I say I’m feeling blue, love,” highlighting a disconnect in an unfortunately one-sided relationship.
