JAY-Z’s ‘4:44’ Is Now Available For FREE Download!

blame it on JES7 July 2, 2017

For many, the thought of having to sign up for a TIDAL or Sprint account in order to listen to JAY-Z’s thirteenth album, 4:44 may have been a little off-putting, despite news that the project would be made available on Apple Music/iTunes in a week, and Amazon confirming physical copies would be on sale on July 7th.

Perhaps due to outcry and possible boycotts against the giant streaming platform, JAY-Z and TIDAL have decided to appease non-subscribers with a way to download the album for FREE. Yes, you don’t have to pay a single dime!

In order to take advantage of this, all you have to do is visit 444.TIDAL.com, plug in the voucher “sprint,” supply an email and you’re instantly taken to a page which allows you to download 4:44 in high bitrate MP3 or FLAC format.

NOTE: The offer only applies to U.S. residents at this time, and the download will not work for Safari browser. Sorry guys and gals.

In other news, actor Mahershala Ali revealed in an Instagram post that 4:44 will indeed include what he’s described as “a visual album by Shawn Carter,” set to star the former, plus Danny Glover and Lupita Nyong’o, whom all appeared in black-and-white vignettes, as seen in the promo trailers aired during Game 3 of the NBA Finals.

Check out the statement and poster below.
