London Jae Shares ’10 Summers’ Mixtape

blame it on Patrick Glynn July 4, 2017

London Jae last appeared at the DopeHouse alongside B.o.B. on their joitn NASA project. But the Atlanta rapper returns on his own today — the Fourth of July — with a new project, 10 Summers.

Jae navigates the 10-track project on his own, and it essentially boils down to him recollecting on the previous 10 summers of working to help get him to where he’s at today. (Think: “Locked yourself in a room doing five beats a day for three summers.”)

“For the most part the inspiration for this project came from me makin’ the transition from a wild ass young nigga without a care in the world to a grown ass man with kids and a real music career,” he told XXL. “It was a hell of a journey and the music is kinda like the soundtrack of the past 10 summers of my life.”
