Run The Jewels are on a roll right now.
El-P and Killer Mike are prepping to head to Europe to continue their Run The World Tour. Their song “Legend Has It” soundtracked the epic first reveal of Marvel’s Black Panther. And Mike, a staple of the Atlanta community, will open a barbershop in the Atlanta Hawks’ Philips Arena.
The duo have now released a video for “Don’t Get Captured,” off RTJ 3. The video feature stop-animation versions of the duo as they embark on the world’s most reality-shattering roller coaster ride, complete with police brutality, gentrification, an unfair justice system, and more. The video is directed by Chris Hopewell, with production from Rosie Brind and Jacknife Films.
