This Father’s Day, Trinidad James shared a light-hearted video called “Dad,” in which the Atlanta rapper portrayed a grandfather, who, with his beloved grandchildren, took a stroll around the block — and despite the song’s overall message, was filled with tender moments of levity.
As James explained for the FATHER FiGGA lead-single “Dad,” “Every child needs a ‘father figga’,” says Trinidad. “Bad fathers help mold great mothers, and good fathers help mold great women.”
With the album’s projected July 28th release approaching, Trinidad has given more insight into the LP, with the 9-track project taking on a “profile of the various traits and takes on [each] role.”
