Mura Masa is from an island between the United Kingdom and France that doesn’t have a bigger population than the city you’re currently in, probably. Thanks to the Internet, though, the young man’s music made its way to the right ears thanks to SoundCloud, and now a couple years later here he is with a star-studded debut album.
Mura Masa’s self-titled project features the likes of A$AP Rocky (“Love$ick“), Desiigner (“All Around The World“), AK Paul, Damon Albarn (“Blu“), Charli XCX and more across 14 tracks of worldly, island-influenced electronic music.
