Sean Price‘s posthumous album, Imperious Rex, will be released via Duck Down on August 8 — the two-year anniversary of his unfortunate passing. After we heard the project’s first single, “Definition Of God,” back in March, the label shares the second single and title track produced by Alchemist.
“Imperious Rex” came along with an animated lyric video, which sees P enter his Silverback Gorilla form and stave off measly police monkeys.
Duck Down also shared the Imperious Rex tracklist will feature the likes of Raekwon, Method Man, Styles P, the late Prodigy, Vic Spencer, Buckshot, P’s wife Bernadette Price and more. Cop the album in various bundle forms on Duck Down’s website.
