Wiki Announces ‘No Mountains In Manhattan’ Album

blame it on Patrick Glynn July 18, 2017

Wiki announced he signed a solo deal with XL Recordings last and shared his next project’s first single, “Pretty Bull,” too. Outside of knowing said album would be released by XL Recordings, we didn’t know much about the project.

Today, though, Wiki announced his debut album’s name: No Mountains In Manhattan. He also said it would drop “this summer,” so I guess that narrows down the release date to before September 22.

A press released described the album as “a journey through the trials and tribulations of a coming to age experience in New York’s most populated borough,” as The FADER points out.

In addition to “Pretty Bull,” Wiki has also shared “Icarus” and “Progress.” There’s no word if those songs will land on the album. No Mountains In Manhattan will be Wiki’s first project since 2015’s lil me.
