Little Dragon released an album earlier this year called Season High. The promotion for the project has been a slow burn, but they revisit it with a video today for “Strobe Light.”
The video was filmed in Johannesburg, South Africa. It follows two male dancers who wear dresses as the video shows off an energetic subculture of the country, where dancers intertwine with cars doing donuts.
“We wanted to make a film that celebrates two dancers from Johannesburg and that feeling of being young and creating your own universe within your environment and being able to express yourself in any shape or form,” directors IB Kamara and Kristin-Lee Moolman said in a statement.
