Chaz French – “Way Out” (Video)

blame it on Patrick Glynn July 21, 2017

Chaz French released his debut album True Colors last week. He said when he dropped the album that it’s about “taking a journey through my experiences and emotions up to this point in my young rap career.” There aren’t many more prime examples of that than “Way Out,” where French expresses his (and many in his city’s) wishes and hopes to find a way out of poverty.

That song, which was the lead single to True Colors, now has a video, highlighted by French’s face getting plastered on people from around his neighborhood: a dude getting mugged, a baby in a mothers arm and a lonely kid wandering the playground with his headphones in.
