For the past several months NYC veteran DJ Absolut will pop up and release an unreleased track from his vaults in between his normal loose offerings. For his latest throwback-inspired Mixtape Mondays drop, he unveils a vintage track from none other than Mobb Deep.
Perhaps as a bookend to what may have been the last Mobb Deep song ever recorded, “Try My Hand” on Alchemist and Budgie‘s The Good Book Vol. 2, Absolut drops The Notorious B.I.G.-sampling “What You Think.” Another bittersweet offering from the fallen Prodigy, the track can be heard below.
In 2015, DJ Absolut released another vintage Mobb song, “That Mobb Deep,” as well.
