Wow, I haven’t heard anything from ¡MAYDAY! in a few years now, since their last project Future Vintage. However, since they’ve signed to Tech N9ne‘s Strange Music label, the group has been on the road almost as much as he has. Perhaps that’s why their musical output is less frequent as before.
¡MAYDAY! will, however, release their fourth album on the label Search Party later in 2017. The album is expected to drop September 8th, and ¡MAYDAY! plans to tour in support of the album later in the Fall. They’ve also released the first single off Search Party, “Airplane Mode,” which — alongside being today’s theme music for me — can be heard below.
¡MAYDAY! will also be a part of the revitalized Paid Dues Festival, which makes its return September 16th-17th in Los Angeles after a three-year hiatus.
