Marlon Craft Hits ‘The Tunnel’s End’ On New LP

blame it on Patrick Glynn August 2, 2017

A couple weeks ago, we highlighted the slick rhymes of Marlon Craft just after he ripped a freestyle on Statik Selektah’s Shade 45 show. The discovery of the New York City rapper, it turned out, came just a couple weeks before his upcoming album — The Tunnel’s End — was set to drop on waiting heads.

Well, the album’s August 2 release date is now here, landing at 14 tracks, which Craft largely navigates by himself (save for two features). There is plenty of boom-bap sounds throughout the whole project, though there are layers of modern hip-hop stylings (“The Feels,” “Braniac”) mixed in as well to show the young rapper’s range.

Craft also linked up with Mass Appeal for short videos, where he travels all five boroughs of his hometown and raps bars from The Tunnel’s End.
