For months now, rumors have been swirling that there may have been some sort of rift between our Chance the Rapper and Vic Mensa, perhaps fueled by a since-deleted Instagram post where Vic seemingly scratched out Chance’s face.
Regardless of any truth to the tension, the ChiTown brothers put everything aside and reunited on stage during the final night of Lollapalooza.
During his headlining performance, Chance brought out Vic — who earned our Verse Of The Month honors for his “HiiiPower” freestyle — to perform their Acid Rap collaboration, “Cocoa Butter Kisses,” and “Say I Didn’t” off Vic’s new album, The Autobiography.
On top of the on stage connection, Chance also shared a quick message on IG about Vic’s Roc Nation debut.
