The 29th installment of the Madden NFL series, Madden NFL 18 arrives shortly before the start of the 2017 NFL season on August 25th. While the game has no competition in the video game world (since, in 2004, EA Sports signed a deal to give them the exclusive rights to use the NFL’s teams, stadia, and players in a video game, essentially wiping out the competition in the process), Madden throws its own hat into the soundtrack arena with a star- and hip hop-heavy playlist.
Similar to NBA 2K18 and its sister game NBA Live ’18, the Madden NFL 18 playlist is stacked with the likes of the A$AP Mob (“RAF“), Action Bronson (“Let Me Breathe“), Big Boi (“Kill Jill“), Goldlink, Joyner Lucas, Kendrick Lamar (“DNA“), Meek Mill, Logic, Vince Staples, and plenty others.
