Six years ago tomorrow (August 9th) Royce 5’9″ — back when he still had the “Da” in his name — released his fifth album, Success Is Certain. Noteworthy for his continued collaborations with Eminem, “Writer’s Block” and “Legendary,” the album would debut in the Billboard Top 10 and became the biggest selling independent hip hop album the year.
