K Camp & Sy Ari Da Kid Reinvent Pokemon Go In “So Many” Video

On the heels of uncovering his understandings of the “facts” behind Cash Money Records’ Birdman and his rift with Lil Wayne (“Wire Transfer From Birdman“) and the more-toned single “Ex-Fiancé,” Sy Ari Da Kid joins K Camp for a fun, humor-filled video.

In the Dontell Antonio-directed clip for “So Many,” the two artists (fresh off collaborating on 2016’s “Julz“) take the Pokemon Go craze and flips it on its head.

Says Da Kid:

The concept behind the video is we basically wanted to have fun and since the song is kind of cliché we wanted to go out the box with the video a little for the kids to enjoy. We didn’t wanna do the regular house party with girls and alcohol. Pokemon Go was really trending and gave me the idea to bring it to my director, Dontell Antonio, and he and his team pulled it off. Me and K Camp always link up on a turn-up song, it’s what we Northside niggas do.

That’s nice and all, but despite the playful nature of the song, I’m not sure having the word “Hoekemon Balls” sprawled across the screen is very “kid friendly”? Just saying.
