With Pusha T putting the final touches on his third solo album King Push, his brother No Malice will release his own solo sophomore effort Let the Dead Bury the Dead on August 18th. Following “Fake News,” the elder Thornton releases a visual for the second single “So Woke.”
The video is rather morose: No Malice is essentially chronicling his own unjust death from the afterlife, spending time in between the site of his murder, in a forest full of strange fruit, and a protest site. It serves as a bitter reminder that not all deaths are created equal in America. Directed by Sergio Lorenzana, the eye-opening visual can be seen below.
