While out on the road, Khalid has plenty of time to occupy between shows. The Texas native kills that time, I’m sure, attending press junkets and recording new music, which has seemingly often included developing covers of popular songs.
Khalid debuted an acoustic version of his and Calvin Harris’ “Rollin” last month and today, he’s shared a cover/mashup of SZA’s “Love Galore” and “The Weekend.” It’s like it’s 2009 YouTube all over again.
