When he’s not terrorizing microphones — something he’s done for well over two decades and counting — Styles P is helping the hood get healthy, one drink at a time.

The venerable member of The LOX is also the co-owner of Juices for Life, a growing chain of juice bars specifically placed in and with the with the goal of providing healthy alternative to urban communities. With three locations in the Bronx and Yonkers, and one coming to Brooklyn, both he and his wife Adjua Styles joined Power 105’s The Breakfast Club for a chat.

During their time together, the two spoke on how Adjua introduced Styles into healthier eating (they both are vegan), Styles’ upbringing, organic food (“I didn’t even know what kale was!”), and more. The two also get into a somber conversation about their daughter Tai Styles, who committed suicide in 2015. Adjua revealed that she has been writing a memoir inspired by both their loss and mental health in the Black community, and plans to release it soon.
