Inspired by the the “TEN Toes Down” challenge viral series which kicked off late last year, where fans were encouraged to freestyle over the BubbaGotBeatz-produced instrumental of the same name, Chris Rivers reveals some of the darkest secrets of his life, displaying a sense of vulnerability seldom seen or heard from the Bronx bomber.
The youngest son of the late, great Big Pun opens up about dealing with his anti-social personality and depression as a youth, past suicide attempts and being homeless. One of the more telling parts comes around the 2:24 mark, where he raps “Since you a broken baby, breathing, choking on your blood and teeth / When you was standing up for your sisters and your mother / Getting beat and now you’re weak.”
