Longtime DopeHouse artist Ess Vee marks his return after a two year absence, and to celebrate, the New Jeruz emcee has brought with him the first in a six-part new short film titled False Awakening, following the release of his last album, Good Times Good Vibes last year.
While the phenomenon known as “false awakenings” are attributed to a dream within a dream, where the person may think they’re awake and going about their daily routines while still actually dreaming (I know, it’s a mind f*ck of epic proportions), Ess Vee explains that the film is about “what it means to dream and how your dreams can be affected.”
