Here Are Your 2017 MTV VMA Winners, With Kendrick Lamar Clutching 6, Including “Video of the Year”

The 2017 MTV VMAs are popping off right now, having switched venues from Madison Square Garden in New York City in 2016 to The Forum in Inglewood, California, and this year’s awards are packed with a few familiar faces, along with some new ones.

Khalid, SZA, Young M.A and Kodak Black have all been nominated as Best New Artist, while Kendrick Lamar—who opened up the show with an explosive performance of “DNA.” and “HUMBLE.”—leads the pack with eight nominations, including Video of the Year, Artist of the Year, Best Hip-Hop, as well as Best Cinematography, Best Direction, Best Art Direction, Best Visual Effects and Best Choreography for “Humble.“—claiming six out of the eight he was nominated for.
