The collaborative effort is a fresh blend of soulful beats and bars, with the Lyricist Lounge legend balancing his trademark braggadocio with deep topics like the Cheeto in charge (“The Election”), racial profiling and police discrimination (“Convicted” with Masta Ace).
Available in both physical form and your preferred streaming platform, Words keeps the new album pumping with a video for “Church.” Recorded during a performance at BackBooth in Orlando, the Myndz-directed clip gives you front and center look at an emcee at work.
“When Sam sent me the beat, it was already titled Church, I thought it fit perfectly and just went in,” Wordsworth says.
