Harlem rapper Don MyKel makes his DopeHouse debut with a new project, Infinite, which he navigates all by himself.
If there’s anything you listen to at the bottom of this post, let it be the first song – “Notorious.” The life-reflecting intro to an album is a tactic something that has stood the test of rap time, and MyKel handles his take on it well. He transitions from the first two-minute onslaught the trap stylings of the last half of the song with a tribute to one of NYC’s great, The Notorious B.I.G. MyKel shows solid range just across the six-minute intro alone, and that stays constant over the next seven tracks.
