Everything Is Recorded — the alias for XL Recordings founder and owner Richard Russell — dropped his debut project Close But Not Quite earlier in 2017. He now follows that up with a new loosie, “Mountains Of Gold.”
If the Sampha, Ibeyi, Wiki, and Kamasi Washington-guested song sounds familiar, that’s because it is: it flips the same Grace Jones sample made popular by Shyne on his 2000 hit “Bad Boyz.” Listen to it below.
