Moses Sumney is a special talent, and hopefully more people recognize that with the debut of his new album, Aromanticism, on September 22. Haunting but gorgeous at the same time, the singles so have cemented my own hype that Sumney will cut deep into my soul with his debut project.
Back in March, Sumney performed one of the singles — “Indulge Me” — in a park in Paris with a guitar by his side and nothing else. As it should, Sumney’s vocals are the star as he sings about trying to hold onto a relationship by its fingertips.
