Apathy & O.C. Release Joint Album, ‘Perestroika’

blame it on Shake September 21, 2017

Two years in the making, Apathy and O.C. have released their joint album, Perestroika.

First announced in 2015, the Demigodz x D.I.T.C. connection officially kicked things off last month with a slick black-and-white visual for the project’s bruising lead single, “Soviet Official.” From there, they gave the DopeHouse the green light to premiere “Live From The Iron Curtain” (a track that Ap earned Verse of the Month for—he bodied it). And now, after breaking down the realness of touring on “Globetrotters,” Ap and O.C. come through with their long-awaited album.

Arriving at 12 tracks in length, Perestroika is full of the slick talk, crazy wordplay and raw beats you’d imagine from a joint project from these two, featuring guest appearances from Celph Titled, Slaine, Kappa Gamma and Marvalyss.

Oh, and the artwork is awesome, too. Something we’ve also come to expect from Apathy.
