Lecrae delivers his new album, All Things Work Together.
Signing a deal with Columbia Records at the top of 2017, the Grammy Award-winning rapper has kept fans in tune, sharing singles with Metro Boomin‘ (“Hammer Time”), Ty Dolla $ign and Mike WiLL Made It (“Blessings”) and Tori Kelly (“I’ll Find You”). And now, after announcing it just last month, he’s back with his eighth studio album.
“It’s a journey through chaos and hope and brokenness and blessing,” Lecrae says. “When you’re in the middle of the chaos, you can come to realize that it is shaping you, creating endurance. It’s knowing that the struggle can bring about a richness in character beyond all wealth. Part of the DNA of this album is the realization that all things do work together to make you into the person that you need to be.”
Clocking in at 14 tracks, All Things Work Together finds Lecrae in command of both firepower and nuance, transforming his message into an uplifting soundtrack of healing through pain, with a little help from T-Minus (“Broke”), Verse Simmonds, New Orleans’ rapper Aha Gazelle, and a few others.
