Curren$y & Lex Luger Drop ‘The Motivational Speech EP’

blame it on Shake September 30, 2017

After an insane run in 2016, Curren$y took his foot off the gas a little this year. But that doesn’t mean he hasn’t been working. In fact, it’s the complete opposite. Although he’s only released two solo projects this year (which is only notable because it’s Spitta we’re talking about here), he’s been putting in work on his next batch of projects. And trust us, there’s a lot to get excited about.

At this moment, the future line-up consists of Smokey’s Revenge with Don Cannon, The Marina EP, The Motion Picture Soundtrack, Lacs N Chevys with Big K.R.I.T., Fetti with Freddie Gibbs, 2009 with Wiz Khalifa and a third installment of Jet Life’s Weed & Instrumentals series.

And let’s not act like Curren$y can’t get high’d up and record an entirely new project in one session like he did with The Champagne Files back in July.

For now, it’s all about Spitta and Smoked Out Luger, who recently got together for The Motivational Speech EP. Led by “Pressure” and “I Know” (which is all types of fire), it sits at six songs with a feature from OJ da Juiceman.
