Travis Scott Signs Smokepurpp To Cactus Jack Records, Drops “Fingers Blue”

Back in March 2017 Travis Scott launched his own label, Cactus Jack Records. “I’m not doing it to have financial control over my music,” he said in an interview with Numéro. “I want first and foremost to help other artists, launch new names, to provide opportunities. I want to do for them what happened to me, but better.”

He recently signed his first artist, the South Florida-based Smokepurpp. Purpp also released his debut album, Deadstar, via Alamo/Interscope Records prior to the announcement.

Now he and Scott have linked for their first song together, “Fingers Blue.” Originally slated for Deadstar, the track did not make it past the cutting room floor. Now, it serves as the first single from the Cactus Jack union. Hear it below.

Perhaps that long-in-the-works Quavo-Travis Scott project will drop via the imprint?
