Since making his DopeHouse debut last year with the overly-infectious “Chill Bill (Remix),” Rob $tone has been keeping busy with endless touring, an EP and a mixtape. But now it’s time for the San Diego rapper to show-and-prove with his official debut album.

On Don’t Wait For It, $tone wanted to show off his versatility while proving he’s more than just someone who knows how to flip a Kill Bill sample.

“It’s an album about growth; as a man, as a musician, as an all around person,” $tone says. “I want people to take ‘Don’t Wait For It’ and apply it to their life. Don’t wait for happiness, don’t wait to be successful and don’t wait for anything. And of course, don’t ever wait for the label.”

At 15 tracks, led by the Zaytoven-laced “Little Piggy” with Meechy Darko of Flatbush ZOMBiES and “Holy Grail” with Malik Burgers, Don’t Wait For It also features contributions from Gucci Mane, ID Labs, CashMoney AP, and more.
