OverDoz. (Finally!!) Releases Debut Album, ‘2008’

blame it on Meka October 26, 2017

It’s. About. Time.

I’ve personally been championing Kent, Cream, P and Joon — better known as OverDoz. — for years, dating all the way back to their Live For, Die For days. Following their 2013 mixtape Boom the group signed to signed to RCA Records and Polo Grounds Music, the same label as A$AP Rocky. Naturally, their debut album would have dropped soon after, right?

If by “right after,” they meant “four years after ‘Lauren London‘…”

At last, OverDoz. has finally released their major label debut, 2008. Led by the singles “Rich White Friends,” “F**k Yo DJ,” and (this writer’s favorite) “Last Kiss” with Pharrell, the group has also released two more in recent weeks: “District” and “Backstage” with Miguel.

Staying true to their eclectic sound, the album features production and features from THC (Kendrick Lamar), Organized Noize (OutKast), Terrace Martin, Hit-Boy and others.

Finally, you and I can stream the project in its entirety below, and add it to your preferred streaming platform.
