Kid Cudi & Kanye West Reunite On Stage In Chicago

During the summer cameras spotted Kanye West and Kid Cudi with Japanese contemporary artist Takashi Murakami together in Japan. Page Six then reported that Kanye and Cudi are working on new music together, supposedly planning to “drop some crazy collaboration out of the blue.”

This is a far cry from the two’s brief spat in 2016 (although they quickly reconciled afterward). And, during Cudi’s Passion, Pain & Demon Slayin’ Tour, West joined Cudi on stage for their first-ever performance of “Father Stretch My Hands, Pt 1” together.

Cudi is arguably one of Kanye’s greatest muses and protégés, as the two worked extensively on 2008’s 808s & Heartbreak and 2010’s My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. However, the two have not worked much since, although Cudi appeared on West’s The Life Of Pablo in 2016. Regardless, it’s great to see the two together, after everything.
