Cam’ron is Back in Action with ‘The Program’ Mixtape

Welcome back, Killa.

In June 2017, Cam’ron revealed to Noisey that he is working on a movie and two projects. “Music, even if I wanted to stop, I don’t think I could stop,” he said in the interview. “It’s just so embedded in my blood that it’s easy to do records. But it’s always fun to take on a new task also.” He then teased things with a spectacularly hood-tastic take on a Vanessa Carlton classic.

Now the first of these projects, The Program, has finally arrived. A 15-track effort, the project is led by the singles “UWasntThere,” “D.I.A.,” and the Cyndi Lauper-sampling “Dime After Dime.” Don Q, Sen City, araabMUZIK and Just Blaze provide features and production, but it looks like — based on Cam’s recent IG post — that Just might have one of the harder tracks on The Program.
