With his latest album, Gemini, Macklemore not only released his first solo album in over ten years, but the Seattle rapper also made sure to put on for his hometown—featuring an assortment of talent from the Northwest.
Last night, Macklemore continued to share his platform by inviting fellow natives and DopeHouse favorites Dave B and Travis Thompson to help perform their “Corner Store” collaboration on The Tonight Show.
Backed by the legendary DJ Premier on the 1s and 2s, the performance can be seen below.
For Dave B, the timing couldn’t be better. Tonight, he’s releasing his new Pearl EP. And if “Sweetest Thing” was any indication, the project will be a must listen.
