Big Sean & Metro Boomin Announce Joint Album, ‘Double Or Nothing’

Looks like Big Sean and Metro Boomin have something in store before the year’s end (maybe?).

The duo first connected on “Bounce Back,” the first single from Sean’s 2017 album I Decided. Following Metro’s collaborative effort with Offset and 21 Savage, Without Warning,” the duo united again for “Pull Up N Wreck.” As it turns out, that appears to be the leadoff single for their own joint project, titled Double or Nothing.

“I was born in ’93,” Metro said to Billboard, “and a lot of projects [from that era] had one producer, maybe two. They sounded more cohesive — better as a whole.”

Double Or Nothing follows Metro Boomin’s previous collaborative efforts: Without Warning, 21 Savage’s Savage Mode, and Perfect Timing with XO affiliate NAV.

“That’s one of the things me and Metro are like-minded on,” adds Sean. “Maybe it has something to do with us being from the Midwest [Sean from Detroit, Metro originally from St. Louis]. We have that goal of wanting to succeed not just for ourselves, but for everybody who’s listening.”

While the project does not have a confirmed release date, Sean has alluded to it possibly dropping before the end of 2017 via Twitter.

UPDATE (12/6): Album drops Friday, artwork below.

UPDATE (12/7): 10 tracks, featuring 2 Chainz, Swae Lee, Travi$ Scott, 21 Savage, Young Thug and Kash Doll.
